OUR STORY

Schram Vineyards Winery & Brewery began as the dream of a farm boy who loved making wine. He met an uptown girl with a taste for wine and beer and they put down their roots in the fields of Waconia in 2008. The dream came to fruition when they opened their doors in 2013 as a winery, and soon after, as a brewery as well. Marrying country and city, wine and beer — Schram brings vineyard wine and craft beer drinkers together in Minnesota at last!   Read the full story..

Semi-Sparkling Rosé

Semi-Sparkling Rosé

Type: Minnesota Semi-Sparkling Wine

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, this lightly effervescent rosé has a delightfully fragrant nose of lush strawberries and florals. Not too sweet, nor too dry, bright peach comes through with a kiss of ripe berry in a harmonious balance that leaves you ready for more.

Cabernet Franc

Cabernet Franc

Type: Single-Varietal Red Wine

Year: 2016

This is a luscious wine with savory fruits of heavy plum, and juicy watermelon, blended with flecks of sage, anise and red bell pepper.  Medium-body and low tannins make it a friendly stand alone, but the higher acidity and fruit make it an excellent addition to the dinner table.

Semi-Sparkling Brianna

Semi-Sparkling Brianna

Type: Minnesota Semi-Sparkling Wine

With notes of light fruit and mild honey, this well-balanced sparkling wine elicits flavors of nectarine, white orchid tea and honeycrisp apple that greets the senses with a fragrant nose of delicate melon and honeysuckle.  A touch of effervescence for the perfect party sipper.

Last Course

Last Course

Type: Port-Style Dessert Wine

Year: 2014

This Zinfandel/Merlot dessert wine has intense chocolate and raspberry notes, a twist of cocoa and is fortified with neutral spirits for a little zing. Hints of red berries, plum, and cherry cordial delight the nose while the essence of chocolate covered cherry lingers on the palette.
