PRIVATE EVENT FAQ
We offer a beautiful and relaxed setting. The focus for events we can host privately are on the hand-crafted wines and beers that we make right here on-site. We are a winery and brewery first and an event venue second. Our tasting and tap room and patio may NOT be used as a party venue for your group during our business hours. If you are interested in having a group of people to our facility for a gathering, arrangements must be made no later than 30 days prior. We do not allow balloons, decorations, cakes or outside food in our tasting room during business hours.

We do not provide: Table linens, decorations, dishes or silverware, etc.
No. Our business is making wine and beer and a highlight of hosting your event here, so the only alcoholic beverages allowed are the delicious wines and beers you may purchase through us. We also have soft drinks and water available for non-drinkers. Please no outside beverages allowed. Thank you!
If you are renting space for an event, you may bring in food from a licensed caterer. No home baked goods or hot dishes. Any food brought in must be cleaned-up and removed from the premises after your event.
Please note: Outside food is ONLY permitted if you are renting private rental space.
Our two courts next to the vineyard may be reserved for $25 per court. Courts will be groomed and play sets provided for your event.
Yes. Please inquire as it will vary on the number of guests. We can work with you and the nature of your event to decide which option will work best (tastings, drink tickets, pre-selected bottles, cash bar). If you’d like to pre-select bottles, only two varieties may be chosen and must be purchased in a minimum of a case. Case discounts do not apply for on-site consumption. The full menu is available if you choose to do by the glass/pint or tastings. By the glass pricing ranges from $6-$10 per glass of wine or beer.
We also offer non-alcoholic beverages including sodas, water, draft root beer. 15% gratuity will be added to the cost of beverages.
We ask that decorations be kept to a minimum and that you use only free-standing decorations. No candles or things tacked on the walls.
Staff at Schram Vineyards will clean-up anything related to alcohol service, and facilities we provide (picking up glasses, straightening of our tables and chairs). Anything else brought in from the outside (food, dishes, decorations, etc.) will need to be cleaned up and removed by you or your caterer.
Schram Vineyards will not be held liable for any injuries that may be sustained by your guests during the event. Participation in agro-tourism activities is at your own risk.
There are two available venues for hosting your own private event:
Tasting & Tap Room
Availability: ONLY when we are closed with public hours. A three hour minimum is required for venue rental.
Ideal for: Corporate outings, team building events, holiday parties, special occasions.
Capacity: 150 (up to 200 with outdoor pavillion May-September)
Times available for events:
Thursdays and Fridays 9am-5pm
Fee: Please inquire for custom quote– will vary based on number of attendees and length of event. A three hour minimum is required for venue rental.
Beverage Minimums: $700 or $15 per person, whichever is greater. This is in addition to the rental fee.
Availability: Our barrel room is already booked for all 2017 dates. We are not able to accommodate any more barrel room rentals until December 2017. During our regular business hours for events up to 50 people. Cellar is not available from mid-August thru November (harvest season). The barrel room is a 21+ event space. This is a working facility, so not all events may be accommodated in this space.
Ideal for: Anniversaries, Casual rehearsal dinners, wine clubs, small company parties, and holiday parties. This space is best used as mingling space. Sit-down dinners will require an extra charge.
Thursdays and Fridays 5-9pm
Saturdays 6-9pm (Saturday times and availability will vary by season)
Room Rental Fee:
May-mid-August: $500 for barrel room and patio outside barrel room.
December-April: Fee may vary based on room set-up needed and style of event, but will range between $350-$500.
1-25 people: $375
This is in addition to the room rental fee.
